Ken Martin is a Minnesota political activist, currently serving as the chair of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, the Minnesota branch of the Democratic Party. Martin began his career in politics as a high school volunteer for the campaign of Paul Wellstone. After receiving a degree in political science from the University of Kansas, Martin returned to Minnesota to work on a variety of campaigns. He worked on the Gore/Lieberman Campaign in 2000, the Buck Humphrey for secretary of state campaign in 2002, the Kerry/Edwards Campaign in 2004, and the Mike Hatch for governor campaign in 2006.
